Borrowed from Marathi खजना (khajnā), from Classical Persian خِزَانَه (xizāna), from Arabic خِزَانَة (ḵizāna). Cognate with Tamil கஜானா (kajāṉā), Tulu ഖജാനെ (khajāne).
