Etymology

Inherited from Prakrit 𑀅𑀘𑁆𑀘𑁂𑀇 (accei), from Sanskrit અત્યેતિ (atyeti, comes upon, goes; enters). Cognate with Vaghri અચ્ચણુ (accaṇu), Sindhi اَچَڻُ / अचणु / 𑊰𑋀𑋌𑋣 (acaṇu), Kholosi ačen, Phalura áača / آچہ.
