[edit]Inherited from Prakrit 𑀆𑀭𑀸𑀫𑀺𑀅 (ārāmia), from Sanskrit आरामिक (ārāmika, “gardener”). Cognate with Gujarati રામી (rāmī) and Sindhi آرائيِ (ārā̃ī).
