[edit]Inherited from Prakrit 𑀅𑀡𑁆𑀡𑀸𑀡𑀺 (aṇṇāṇi), 𑀅𑀡𑁆𑀡𑀸𑀡𑀺𑀬 (aṇṇāṇiya) (with Middle Indo-Aryan -𑀇𑀓- (-ika-)) via dissimilation (*𑀅𑀡𑁆𑀡𑀸𑀟𑀻 (*aṇṇāḍī)), from Sanskrit अज्ञानिन् (ajñānin).
