Inherited from Sanskrit *भोला (bholā).[1] Cognate with Odia ଭୋର (bhora), Maithili 𑂦𑂷𑂩 (bhor), Punjabi ਭੋਰ (bhor), Gujarati ભોર (bhor), Hindi भोर (bhor), Nepali भोर (bhor), भोलि (bholi).
