Etymology

Derived from Sanskrit अकर्मक (akarmaka). Structurally, from Bahuvrīhi compound of অ- (o-) +‎ কর্মক (kormok), or, by Bengali prefixation অ- (o-) +‎ কর্মক (kormok), or alternatively, by Bengali suffixation অকর্ম (ôkôrmô) +‎ -ক (-k).
