    • Sant Shri Asharamji Ashram, तू गुलाब होकर महक [Become a rose and be fragrant][1]:
      निर्भीक हरिदास ने बेंत की मार खाना स्वीकार किया किंतु हरिभक्ति छोड़ना स्वीकार न किया। निश्चित दिन हरिदास को बेंत मारते हुए ले जाया जाने लगा। सिपाही बेंत मारता है तो हरिदास बोलता है : “हरि बोल...”
      nirbhīk haridās ne bẽt kī mār khānā svīkār kiyā kintu haribhakti choṛnā svīkār na kiyā. niścit din haridās ko bẽt mārte hue le jāyā jāne lagā. sipāhī bẽt mārtā hai to haridās boltā hai : “hari bol...”
      The fearless Haridas accepted being beaten from the cane but did not accept to give up his devotion to Hari. On a fixed day Haridas began being taken for being beaten with a cane. When the soldier would hit the cane, Haridas would say: “Hari bol...”
