      श्रुत्वैतत् खड्गम् आकृष्य हन्तुम् आत्मानम् उद्यतम् ।
      प्रतिज्ञाभङ्गनिर्भिन्नं पार्थं कृष्णो ऽब्रवीत् पुनः ॥
      śrutvaitat khaḍgam ākṛṣya hantum ātmānam udyatam.
      pratijñābhaṅganirbhinnaṃ pārthaṃ kṛṣṇo ʼbravīt punaḥ.
      On hearing this, Kṛṣṇa spoke to Arjuna who, having his vow broken was ready to kill himself having drawn his sword.
