Borrowed from Punjabi ਸਰਗੋਧਾ (sargodhā) / سرگودھا (sargodhā), from ਸਰ (sar, pond, pool) +‎ ਗੋਧਾ (godhā, a Hindu fakir) / سر (sr, pond, pool) +‎ گودھا (godhā, a Hindu ascetic).
