Borrowed from Classical Persian وزیر خارجه (vazīr-i xārija). By surface analysis, वज़ीर (vazīr) +‎ -ए- (-e-) +‎ ख़ारजा (xārjā). Compare Arabic وَزِير الْخَارِجِيَّة (wazīr al-ḵārijiyya).
