[edit]Inherited from Maharastri Prakrit 𑀮𑀤𑁆𑀤𑁂𑀇 (laddei), from Sanskrit लर्दयति (lardayati). Cognate with Gujarati લાદવું (lādvũ), Hindustani لَادْنَا (lādnā) / लादना (lādnā), Sindhi لَڏَڻُ / लॾणु, Punjabi ਲੱਦਣਾ (laddaṇā) / لَدّݨا (laddṇā).
