Borrowed from Classical Persian مقرر (muqarrar), from Arabic مُقَرَّر (muqarrar). Compare Punjabi ਮੁਕੱਰਰ (mukarrar) / مقَرر (muqarrar), Gujarati મુકરર (mukrar).
