Etymology
[edit]Inherited from Old Gujarati वाउलउ (vāulaü), from Apabhramsa वाउल (vāula), from Prakrit वाउल (vāula) + Middle Indo-Aryan -𑀓- (-ka-), from Sanskrit वातुल (vātula, “affected by wind-disease, crazy”).[1]
