[edit]Borrowed from Classical Persian فتح (fath), from Arabic فَتْح (fatḥ). Compare Gujarati ફતેહ (phateh), Hindi फ़तह (fatah), Punjabi ਫ਼ਤਿਹ (fatih) / فَتح (fatḥ), Bengali ফতে (phote).
