[edit]Inherited from Sauraseni Prakrit *𑀧𑀼𑀢𑁆𑀢𑀮 (*puttala), 𑀧𑀼𑀢𑁆𑀢𑀮𑀻 (puttalī), from Sanskrit *पुत्रल (putrala).
