Etymology
[edit]From पट्ट (paṭṭa) + -इका (-ikā), feminine of पट्टक (paṭṭaka), which is itself a diminutive of पट्ट (paṭṭa), a reborrowed Prakrit form of पत्त्र (pattra).[1]
