Etymology
[edit]Borrowed from Classical Persian ناخوش (nāxuš, nāxaš). By surface analysis, ना- (nā-) + खुश (khuś). Compare Gujarati નાખુશ (nākhuś), Hindustani ناخوش (nāxoś) / नाख़ुश (nāxuś), Sindhi ناخوشِ / नाख़ुशि, Punjabi ਨਾਖੁਸ਼ (nākhuś) / ناخوش (nāxoś), Odia ନାଖୁସ (nākhusa), Nepali नाखुस (nākhus), Bengali নাখুশ (nakhuś), নাখোশ (nakhōś).
