[edit]Inherited from Prakrit तुंदिल्ल (tuṃdilla), तुंदिल (tuṃdila), from Sanskrit तुन्दिल (tundila). By surface analysis, तोंद (tond, “pot-belly”) + -ईला (-īlā).
