    • 2003, Dr. N. E. Viswanatha Iyer, घने केरतरुतले [ghane kertarutale], Kitabghar Prakashan, →ISBN, page 26:
      ‘रामचरितमानस’ में तुलसीदास जी ने रामभक्ति और शिवभक्ति के समन्वय पर बार-बार रामचंद्र से कहलाया है। इस समन्वय का स्पष्ट उदाहरण परंपरागत काशी तीर्थयात्रा में भी है।
‘rāmcaritmānas’ mẽ tulsīdās jī ne rāmbhakti aur śivbhakti ke samanvay par bār-bār rāmcandra se kahlāyā hai. is samanvay kā spaṣṭ udāhraṇ par̃parāgata kāśī tīrthayātrā mẽ bhī hai.
In ‘Ramcharitmanas’, Tulsidas has repeatedly asked Ramchandra about the coordination of bhakti towards Rama and bhakti towards Shiva. A clear example of this coordination is also seen in the traditional Kashi pilgrimage.
