[edit]Inherited from Prakrit *चिवु ~ *चिबु (civu ~ cibu) + Middle Indo-Aryan -𑀟𑁆𑀟- (-ḍḍa-), from Sanskrit *चिबु (cibu), an unextended form of चिबुक (cibuka)[1][2]
