Inherited from Sanskrit गम्यते (gamyate). Compare Old Marathi 𑘐𑘦𑘜𑘹 (gamaṇe), Gujarati ગુમાવવું (gumāvvũ), Hindi गंवाना (gamvānā), Punjabi ਗੁਆਉਣਾ (guāuṇā) / گُوآؤنا (gūā'onā).
