Borrowed from Classical Persian خوب (xūb), from Middle Persian 𐭧𐭥𐭡 (xūb). Compare Hindi ख़ूब (xūb).

   khūp kām karāylā bākī āhe.

   There is much work to be done.

   रस्त्यावर खूप माणसं आहेत.

   rastyāvar khūp māṇsa āhet.
