      कैथाने में जा कर एक लोटा पानी माँगूँ तो न मिले । भला खटिया कौन देगा !
      kaithāne mẽ jā kar ek loṭā pānī māṅgū̃ to na mile . bhalā khaṭiyā kaun degā !
      If I go to the Kayastha house and ask for a glass of water, I will not get it. Who do you think will provide a cot!
