- वेणोः करीराः कफला मधुरा रसपाकतः ।
विदाहिनो वातकराः सकषाया विरूक्षणाः ॥- veṇoḥ karīrāḥ kaphalā madhurā rasapākataḥ.
vidāhino vātakarāḥ sakaṣāyā virūkṣaṇāḥ. - Bamboo shoots are phlegmatic, sweet both in taste and digestion, causing heartburn and flatulence, astringent and dryness-causing.
