- उष्ट्रपक्षी (शुतुरमुर्ग) के पीछे जब शिकारी लग जाता है तो वह भागता रहता है, पर अन्त में जब देखता है कि बचना संभव नहीं है तब वह अपना मुंह रेत में छिपाकर, आँखे बन्द कर, चुपचाप मृत्यु को स्वीकार करता है।

- When a hunter comes after an ostrich, it keeps on running, but when it finally sees that it is not possible to escape, it hides his face in the sand, closes its eyes, silently accepts death.
