[edit]Inherited from Old Marathi 𑘁𑘂𑘝 (āita), 𑘁𑘧𑘝 (āyata), 𑘁𑘧𑘱𑘝 (āyita), from Maharastri Prakrit 𑀆𑀬𑀢𑁆𑀢 (āyatta), 𑀆𑀇𑀢𑁆𑀢 (āitta), from Sanskrit आयत्त (āyatta). Cognate with Gujarati આયતું (āyatũ).
