[edit]Etymology
[edit]Borrowed from Sanskrit अनुभूति (anubhūti).
Pronunciation
[edit]Noun
[edit]अनुभूति • (anubhūti) f
- feeling, sensation (of emotion)
- Synonym: एहसास (ehsās)
- 2024, Anil Ray, आदिकालीन हिन्दी साहित्य अध्ययन की दिशाएँ, Vani Prakashan, →ISBN, →OCLC, page 291:
- कवि की भाव-प्रेरित अनुभूति-स्पंदित वाणी सीधे अंतस्तल तक पहुँचे बिना बीच में रुकना नहीं चाहती। कारण यह है कि अद्दहमाण ने सदैव स्वाभाविकता और मार्मिकता का ध्यान रखा। साधारण कवियों की भाँति वे चमत्कार के लोभ में नहीं पड़े।
- kavi kī bhāv-prerit anubhūti-spandit vāṇī sīdhe antastal tak pahũce binā bīc mẽ ruknā nahī̃ cāhtī. kāraṇ yah hai ki addahmāṇ ne sadaiv svābhāviktā aur mārmiktā kā dhyān rakhā. sādhāraṇ kaviyõ kī bhā̃ti ve camatkār ke lobh mẽ nahī̃ paṛe.
- The poet's emotion-inspired, pulsating-with-feel speech does not want to stop in between without reaching the heart directly. The reason is that Addahamāṇa always kept naturalness and poignancy in mind. Like ordinary poets, he did not fall in the temptation of miracles.
- realization, insight
