Inherited from Ashokan Prakrit *𑀝𑁄𑀓𑁆𑀓 (*ṭokka) + Middle Indo-Aryan -𑀭- (-ra-) + -𑀇𑀓𑀸- (-ikā-). Cognate to Hindi टोकरी (ṭokrī)
