Usage notes
[edit]- (grandmother): This is only used for genetic grandmothers and grandmothers by relation of adoption, not step-grandmothers. A step-grandmother is instead referred to as ܒܲܟ݂ܬ ܣܵܒ݂ܵܐ (baḵt sāḇā, literally “the wife of a grandfather”).
