Etymology
[edit]Contraction of ܡ̣ܢ ܐܸܚܕ݂ܵܕ݂ܹܐ (min iḥḏāḏē, literally “with each other”), with the word ܡ̣ܢ (min) having replaced ܥܲܡ (ˁam).
