[edit]From the older form ܐܢܚܢܢ ([ʾə]naḥnan); archaic in Classical Syriac and only used in literary or formal contexts. Compare Arabic نَحْنُ (naḥnu) and Hebrew אֲנַחְנוּ (ʾănaḥnû).
