[edit]From Middle Persian kywʾn' (kēwān), ultimately from Akkadian 𒊕𒍑 (SAG.UŠ /kaiamānu, kayamānu, kajamānu/, “Saturn”, literally “regular, usual, steady, staying, abiding always”).
