Etymology

From پرگار (perger, “pair of compasses”) +‎ ـلامق (-lamak, suffix forming infinitives from nouns or adjectives).

Verb

پرگارلامق • (pergerlemek)

1. (transitive) to compass, to encircle, surround, or measure with a pair of compasses
2. (transitive, figuratively) to contrive, devise, to invent by an exercise of ingenuity

   Synonym: تصارلامق (tasarlamak)
