نَاصِبِيّ (nāṣibiyy) (feminine نَاصِبِيَّة (nāṣibiyya), masculine plural نَواصِب (nawāṣib) or نَاصِبِيُّون (nāṣibiyyūn), feminine plural نَاصِبِيَّات (nāṣibiyyāt))

  1. (Islam, sometimes religious slur) a perceived enemy of Ali ibn Abi Talib and his family; one who despises them or seeks to delegitimize them; (hence also) an anti-Shiite
    Coordinate term: رَافِضِيّ (rāfiḍiyy)
