    • 609–632 CE, Qur'an, 4:103:
      إِنَّ الصَّلَاةَ كَانَتْ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ كِتَابًا مَّوْقُوتًا
      ʔinna ṣ-ṣalāta kānat ʕalā l-muʔminīna kitāban mmawqūtan
      Indeed, performing prayers is a duty on the believers at the appointed times.
