    • 7th century CE, Sunan Abī Dāwud, 34:52:
      كُنْتُ يَوْمًا عِنْدَ زَيْنَبَ اِمْرَأَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَنَحْنُ نَصْبُغُ ثِيَابًا لَهَا بِمَغْرَةٍ
      kuntu yawman ʕinda zaynaba imraʔati rasūli l-lahi ṣallā llāhu ʕalayhi wasallama wanaḥnu naṣbuḡu ṯiyāban lahā bimaḡratin
      I was with Zaynab, the woman of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), and we were dyeing her clothes ochre.
