[edit]From Old Anatolian Turkish ككز (göğüz),[1] Proto-Turkic *köküŕ (“breast”); cognate with Azerbaijani köks, Dolgan [script needed] (köksü), Turkmen göwüs, Uyghur [script needed] (köküs), Uzbek koʻksi and Yakut: көҕүс (köğüs).
