Etymology
[edit]Inherited from Proto-Turkic *kïŕak (“sledge, sleigh; skate”); cognate with Azerbaijani xizək, Bashkir ҡуҙы (quźı), Karakhanid [script needed] (qızaq), Tatar кызав (qızaw) and Uyghur [script needed] (quzuq).
