[edit]Inherited from Proto-Turkic *susgak (“scoop, ladle”), from *sus- (“to scoop”); cognate with Turkmen susmak, but compare Khakas сусху (susxu), Kyrgyz сузгу (suzgu), Southern Altai суску (susku) and Tatar соскы (soskı).
