      باجگاهی‌ست آنجا که کشتی ها، که از اطراف روم و فرنگ و اندلس و مغرب بیاید، عشر به سلطان دهند، و ارزاق لشکر از آن باشد، و سلطان را آنجا کشتی‌ها باشد که به روم و صقیله و مغرب روند و تجارت کنند.
      bājgāhē-st ānjā ki kištī-hā, ki az atrāf-i rūm u farang u andalus u mağrib biyāyad, ušr ba sultān dahand, u azrāq-i laškar az ān bāšand, u sultān rā ānjā kištī-hā bāšad ki ba rūm u siqillīya u mağrib rawand u tijārat kunand.
      It is a place of trade such that ships from the regions of Byzantium, Europe, al-Andalus, and North Africa come there. The tenth [of the goods] are given to the ruler, and the troops are supplied from that. The ruler has ships there which go and trade in Byzantium, Sicily, and North Africa.
