  1. Suwāʻ, one of the of five false gods worshipped by the people of Noah.
    • 609–632 CE, Qur'an, 71:23:
      وَقَالُوا لَا تَذَرُنَّ ءَالِهَتَكُمْ وَلَا تَذَرُنَّ وَدًّا وَلَا سُوَاعًا وَلَا يَغُوثَ وَيَعُوقَ وَنَسْرًا
      waqālū lā taḏarunna ʔālihatakum walā taḏarunna waddan walā suwāʕan walā yaḡūṯa wayaʕūqa wanasran
      and said (to their people), “Never forsake your gods, and never forsake Wadd, nor Suwā‘, nor Yaghūth and Ya‘ūq and Nasr.”
