- necklace of beads, gems or cloves
- 7th century CE, Ṣaḥīḥ al-Buḵāriyy, 77:101:
- فَقَامَ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ يَمْشِي وَفِي عُنُقِهِ السِّخَابُ
- faqāma l-ḥasanu bnu ʕaliyyin yamšī wafī ʕunuqihi s-siḵābu
- So Al-Ḥasan bin ʿAliyy rose and began walking with a necklace of beads around his neck.
- 7th century CE, Sunan Abī Dāwud, 2:770:
- فَجَعَلَت الْمَرْأَةُ تُلْقِي خُرْصَهَا وَسِخَابَهَا
- fajaʕalat al-marʔatu tulqī ḵurṣahā wasiḵābahā
- So the woman put her earring and her necklace on.
