خَوْزَلَى (ḵawzalām

  1. elegant, proud and self-conceited gait (a certain mode of walking, with a looseness of the joints)
    • 10th century, Al-Mutanabbi, Diwan of Mutanabbi:
      ʔalā kullu māšiyati l-ḵayzalā
      fidā kulli māšiyati l-hayḏabā
      wakulli najātin bujāwiyyatin

Indeed, all the mincing women are
a ransom for all the fast she-camels
and for all the fleet Bujawi rescuing camels
straddling in gait for I don't possess elegance of gait either.
