Etymology
[edit]Inherited from Proto-Turkic *boğïm (“joint, articulation”)[1]; cognate with Azerbaijani buğum, Bashkir быуын (bıwın), Karakhanid [script needed] (boɣïm), Kazakh буын (buyn), Kyrgyz муун (muun), Uyghur بوغۇم (boghum) and Uzbek boʻgʻin.
