Etymology
[edit]From a Middle Persian term also borrowed in Old Armenian օշարակ (ōšarak) and Arabic أَفْشُرَج (ʔafšuraj) composed *Habí- + the stem of the present verb فشردن (fešordan, “to press”) diminutive *-akah.
