أَجْهَضَ (ʔajhaḍa) IV (non-past يُجْهِضُ (yujhiḍu), verbal noun إِجْهَاض (ʔijhāḍ))

  1. to abort, to miscarry
    قَرَّرَ الزَّوْجَانِ إِجْهَاضَ الْحَمْلِ بِسَبَبِ التَّشْوِيهَاتِ الْخَطِيرَةِ فِي الْجِنِينِ.
    qarrara z-zawjāni ʔijhāḍa l-ḥamli bisababi t-tašwīhāti l-ḵaṭīrati fī l-jinīni.
    The couple decided to terminate the pregnancy due to severe abnormalities in the fetus.
