Usage notes
[edit]- In the plural, the stress shifts to the second אַ (a), i.e. /kaʃˈtanəs/ according to the CEYD, however stress on either אַ (a) is acceptable according to the CYED.
- Senses 2 and 3 are only recorded in the CYED, while sense 1 is not recorded at all.
