Etymology

Possibly from צבֿועק (tsvuak, hypocrite) +‎ ־ען (-en), with the shift to ־טש־ (-tsh-) being a result of the Slavic first palatalization, or being derived from the feminine form צבֿועטשקע (tsvuatshke).
