פּוֹזָה (pózaf (plural indefinite פּוֹזוֹת, singular construct פּוֹזַת־)

  1. a pose
  2. (slang, chiefly plural) an insincere and hubristic pretense or affectation intended to impress others
    אל תעשה פוזות אם אתה לא מוכן גם באמת לעשות מה שאמרת שתעשה.
    al ta'asé pózot im atá lo mukhán gam be'emét la'asót ma she'amárta sheta'asé.
    Don't keep up a pretense if you're not ready to actually do what you said you would.
