וַתָּשֶׂם • (vatásem)

(And) (she/it) placed: third-person feminine singular vav-consecutive imperfect (hence past tense) of שָׂם (sam).

  וַתָּשֶׂם בָּהּ אֶת הַיֶּלֶד וַתָּשֶׂם בַּסּוּף עַל שְׂפַת הַיְאֹר
